List Server Maintenance Commands
Below is a table of all of the
commands accepted by the list server. You should compose your
email using your preferred mail software, it should be addressed
to yourlistserver@yourdomain.com the body of the message
should contain your commands from the table below. Do not send
HTML messages, or include a signature on the message as these can
confuse the list server. You should receive a response from the
list server acknowledging your commands after a few minutes. |

| JOIN or SUBSCRIBE (JOIN-DIGEST
or SUBSCRIBE-DIGEST) |
The join or subscribe commands are issued by users
who want to join the list. These commands are only accepted if
allowed by the list server. Otherwise, the owner gets a message
about the user request. |
JOIN [password] {listname}, [mail address], [full
name]orSUBSCRIBE [password] {listname}, [mail address], [full
name]The values inside the braces are optional. If no email
address is given, the one they use to send the request will be
used. |

| LEAVE or UNSUBSCRIBE (LEAVE-DIGEST
or UNSUBSCRIBE-DIGEST) |
Users can leave the list automatically using the
leave or unsubscribe command. |
LEAVE [password] {listname}, [mail

| NORMAL or DIGEST |
Users can change the mode of their subscription
either to normal or to digest. |

Use this command to obtain a list of all the
mailing lists that are served by this server. |

| WHICH |
This command returns you a listing of all the
mailing lists to which you have subscribed. |

| RECIPIENTS or REVIEW |
Get a listing of all members of the specified
mailing list. |
